Structural Burn Training
October 26-
R20, ET 20, 20A1, SU 20 participated in a live burn training
session at the Franklin County Fire Training Center.
Structure Fire
October 12-
While on a transfer at CC Station 6 E201 was dispatched to
assist on a structure fire at 1101 Lucabaugh Mill Rd. E201
assisted with overhaul and cleanup. E201 cleared at 04:10.
Motorcycle Accident
October 11-
At 11:28 E201, R20 & 20A were
alerted for a motorcycle accident in the 100 Blk of S Queen St
in Littlestown Boro. Units arrived on scene to find a non
injury vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. Box in
service at 11:37.
Gas Line Struck
October 11-
At 10:27 E201, R20 & 29A were
alerted to a gas line struck at 1235 Hanover Pike in Union Twp.
Units arrived on scene to find a residential gas line struck due
to a landscaping spike. Building was evacuated and 29A was
placed in service. Crews checked interior for gas levels.
Operations shut off gas at street box. Box in service at
10:45.
Reported MVA W/Entrapment
October 10-
At 17:59 E201, R20 & 20A were
alerted to a vehicle accident with possible entrapment at 159 E
King St in Littlestown Boro. 20A arrived on scene to find
2 vehicles with minor injuries and no entrapment. Command
20 cleared debris from roadway and units cleared at 18:17.
Misc Fire
October 4-
At 19:25 in Box 21-3 E201, ET20,
B20 & CA 11 were alerted for a misc fire at 170 Study Rd in
Germany Twp. Units arrived to find 2 mobile home trailers
on fire. Fire was quickly extinguished after dumping 5000
gallons of water on fire. Units cleared at20:56.
2nd Alarm Assignment
October 4-
At 01:45 hours E201 & ET20 were
alerted for a 2nd alarm structure fire in CC Box 3-6 at 1532
Miller Rd in Westminster. E201 hauled 4 loads of water &
ET20 hauled 5 loads of water. Units cleared at 05:05.
MVA
October 1-
At 19:20 hours in Box 20-1 Company
20 was dispatched for a vehicle accident at Basehoar School Rd
and Route 194. Units arrived to find a rear end collision
involving 2 vehicles. Units cleared the scene at 19:42.
